Instead, when you attend a show from the progressive rock group, you will be in for a complete show featuring an incredible pyrotechnics and fireworks show, solos from pianists, bassists, and others, plus a remarkable story put to the tune of music.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has sold more than 10 million records around the world and has also sold more than 10 million tickets. They have been touring since 1999 and since 2000, have had two touring groups in place for their winter tour schedule, allowing them to cover more ground. At this stage in their career, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has traveled to many countries around the world and is a respected musical act.

When the group announces their plans to travel the country around the holidays, it is usually one of the most followed announcements in the business and fans are quick to get their tickets. This year, the group will debut its newest rock opera show, The Christmas Attic, as they retired the previous show, The Lost Christmas Eve. The 2014 tour will kick off in November in Ohio and will turn through the first week in January with shows in Illinois. In between, they will travel to venues in Connecticut, Colorado, Iowa, Colorado, Utah, South Carolina, Washington, and more.

With a new show and a new theme, any fan that has seen their show in recent years can only imagine what changes will be made to add to their already remarkable show with pyrotechnics, light shows, and great stage set ups.

American National Soccer Team Looking to Fight Through Injuries in Round of 16 Match

USA vs. Belgium World Cup Tickets

United States vs. Belgium Tickets

After finishing in second place in the Group of Death during the opening round of the 2014 World Cup from Brazil, the United States will look to continue their improbable run. Even before the team travelled to Brazil for the most popular football tournament in the world, they were forced to fight through all the questions about how and why Landon Donovan was left off the tournament roster. Now, after their first three games in the tournament, they are being forced to answer more questions, this time about injury.

It all started for the Americans in the opening match when Clint Dempsey broke his nose and Jozy Altidore. The latter suffered a hamstring injury early in their match against Ghana, leaving his entire tournament in doubt. As a member of the United States national team, the native of Livingston, N.J. has scored 23 goals and his presence could be missed greatly if he can’t lace up his cleats on the pitch on July 1, and at this point, it doesn’t look like good news. The Dempsey broken nose hasn’t affected him or the team and he should be good to go when the United States takes on Belgium.

In the final game of the group stage against Germany, another nose was broken on an American player. This time, it wasn’t a stray kick of the opposing player that did it. In the second half, Jermaine Jones became the latest player to break his name after colliding with teammate Alejandro Bedoya. Dempsey has gone against the advice of doctors by not wearing a face mask and it remains to be seen what Jones will do when he takes the field on Tuesday.

The United States will take on Belgium on July 1st with a spot in the quarterfinals up for grab. The winner of that game will take on the winner of Argentina vs. Switzerland with the ultimate goal being advancing to the following match where a showdown with either Netherlands or Costa Rica will take place.

Brazil to Battle Chile in Quarterfinals of 2014 World Cup

The action in Group A and Group B of the 2014 World Cup from Brazil is complete and the quarterfinals have been determined for the top two teams from each. In Group A, the host nation team led by Neymar, Hulk, Marcelo and company, finished atop the standings ahead of Mexico, earning their right to play the second place team from Group B, Chile.

In the group stage, Brazil won two games and earned one draw. In the opening game of the 2014 tournament, Brazil defeated Croatia 3-1. They followed that game up with a 0-0 draw against Mexico and in the final game, knocked off Cameroon 4-1 to earn their first place finish. With a +5 goal differential, Brazil is hoping to carry their momentum into the knockout stages against Chile.

Chile has already turned out to be one of the surprise teams in the 2014 tournament. In the group where the Netherlands and Spain were expected to come out on top, Chile shocked the world by beating the defending World Cup champions from Spain 2-0 in their second game, effectively knocking them out of the tournament. They came into that game having defeated Australia in their first game. Chile was unsuccessful in their quest to be 3-0, dropping to Netherlands 2-0 after succeeding two late goals.

The top goal scorer in the 2014 tournament thus far is the 22-year-old Brazilian star, Neymar. The Barcelona player scored two goals in each of the Brazilian victories and has shown the desire to succeed in the big games, where other major stars like Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo have struggled. Also leading the way for the Brazilians in their quest to win their sixth World Cup are Fred, Fernandinho, and Oscar, who have each added a goal during the tournament.

Thus far in the World Cup, five players from Chile have netted a single goal including Charles Aránguiz, Alexis Sánchez, Jean Beauséjour, Jorge Valdivia, and Eduardo Vargas. These players have helped paced the national team into the Knockout stages for their third straight run in the World Cup. Four years ago in South Africa, they were knocked out of the tournament by Brazil, 3-0.

Brazil and Chile will meet in Belo Horizonte on Saturday, June 28 at 12 p.m. ET from Estádio Mineirão. The facility originally opened in 1965 and was renovated in 2012. It can seat more than 57,000 fans and has seen at least 56,800 in each of the three games it has hosted thus far this World Cup. When the home team takes the pitch on Saturday to take on Chile, it will be a packed house filled with locals looking to continue the excitement that is the World Cup.

Luis Suarez Suspended 9 Matches, Four Months for Biting Incident in World Cup

FIFA World Cup Tickets

Following the 1-0 victory earlier this week for Uruguay against Italy, the normal topic of discussion would be the fact that they advanced to the Round of 16. Instead, all the talk has been about the Uruguayan superstar, Luis Suarez, and his biting incident involving Giorgio Chiellini. In the 80th minute of their game, the two players were in front of the Italian goal and that is where the apparent biting incident occurred.

Television replays showed the motion of Suarez’s actions and images of the Italian players shoulder reached the world soon after the final whistle. Earlier today, Fédération Internationale de Football Association, or FIFA, the governing body of football around the world disciplined Suarez to the tune of nine official matches, four months of “football-related” activity, financial penalties and he won’t be allowed to enter the premises during their matches.

The main backlash behind Suarez’s actions during the final game of the group stage for Uruguay is that this isn’t his first incident involving biting another player. This is the third recorded instance where he bit an opponent during a match and he has also been disciplined by FIFA for making racial comments. This latest incident brings on a question of whether Suarez even deserves to ever lace his cleats up again for the national team. He is one of the most talented players in the world and is just 27, but is appearing to not be worth the drama that he brings.

It’s funny how time changes the opinion of people. When Suarez was able to play for this World Cup a month after knee surgery, he was applauded for his ability to persevere and lead is team. Now, just two weeks later, he is being ridiculed and bashed from fans, pundits and peers.

Uruguay will take the pitch next in the Round of 16 against Colombia on Saturday from Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro. It will be a huge test for Uruguay without their leader, but they do lead the all-time series against their fellow South American rival, 18-11-9.

UConn, Florida, Wisconsin and Kentucky Fight it Out in the Final Four at AT&T Stadium in Dallas

2014 NCAA Final Four Tickets

The field of 68 teams has been dwindled to just four in the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. Some of the Final Four teams were expected by many to be where they are, but there are two teams that while filled with superb talent, were not expected to make it this far. Representing the South, the No. 1 overall seed Florida Gators will take on the East Regional winner, the No. 7 seeded Connecticut Huskies. The West Regional winner, the No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers will take on the eighth seeded Kentucky Wildcats, who won the Midwest Regional.

Both games will be played on April 5 from the home of the Final Four this year, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Huskies are currently 30-8 this season and were 12-6 during their American Athletic Conference. They finished the AAC regular season tied for third place and were not expected to reach the Sweet 16 by many pundits, let alone the Final Four. In the first round, they came from behind to beat St. Josephs, and added victories against former Big East rival Villanova, Iowa State and Michigan State.

The Huskies, led by Shabazz Napier, will take on the top ranked Gators, led by Casey Prather. The Gators are currently 36-2, including a perfect 18-0 conference record in the Southeastern Conference. The Gators were the easy pick to come out of their bracket and despite struggling a bit in their opening game against Albany, recovered and began to look like they had all season with wins against Pittsburgh, UCLA and Dayton. The Gators have been the most consistent team this season, but one of their losses came against UConn in December at Gampel Pavilion.

On the opposite side of the Bracket, the Badgers of Wisconsin are currently 30-7 including a 12-6 mark during their Big Ten Conference schedule. The talented Badgers are led by Frank Kaminsky, who has been one of the best players in the tournament this year. In their win against the top seeded Arizona Wildcats, Kaminsky scored 28 points. The Badgers also defeated Baylor, Oregon and American University in their previous games to reach the Final Four.

In the stacked Midwest Region, any one of five teams could have reached the Final Four. From top seeded Wichita State to Louisville to Michigan to Duke and Kentucky, this bracket could be equated to the “Group of Death” in the World Cup. The eighth seeded Wildcats are a young team that is filled with National Basketball Association type talent that is coming together at the right time. They are 28-10 this season including 12-6 in the SEC and advanced to the Final Four with wins against Kansas State, Wichita State, Louisville and Michigan. All four wins were decided by seven points or less, allowing the very young team to get much needed experience.

AT&T Stadium is the home of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. The facility opened in 2009 and at the 2010 NBA All Star Game, sat a venue record 108,713 fans.

Kennedy Center Opera House to Welcome The Lion King

The Lion King is widely known as one of the greatest shows in the history of Broadway. With more than 6,700 performances, it is the fourth longest running shows in the history of Broadway and has grossed more than $1 billion since opening, making it the highest grossing show of all-time. The show has been performed around the world in exotic locations like London, Sydney, Taipei, Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto. There is currently a traveling show being performed at the Paramount Theatre and beginning on June 17, the show will be held at the Kennedy Center Opera House in the nation’s capitol, Washington, D.C.

Based off the 1994 Disney movie of the same name, The Lion King has gone from a small show being held at the Orpheum Theatre in Minnesota into one of the most prestigious shows in the history of Broadway. When the show makes its way to Washington, D.C. for a two month run through Aug. 17, fans will be able to catch all the action they couldn’t see in New York City. The show that fans at the Kennedy Center Opera House will be much of the same that fans have seen on Broadway thousands of times with the exception of a few changes that needed to be made to accommodate the traveling show and to keep in on budget. Despite these changes, the main theme of the show remains the same and those who have never had a chance to see the show in the city, will have a close glimpse of how the show was.

The Kennedy Center Opera House is located on the Potomac River and opened in 1971. The venue has been home to numerous theater, dance, ballet, orchestra, jazz and folk music acts. It is one of the busiest venues in the world and is home to more than 2,000 performances each year. The Opera House is located at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts between the Concert Hall and the Eisenhower Theater. There are more than 2,300 seats in the venue and is normally home to the Washington National Opera and the Kennedy Center Honors.

The music you will hear the Opera House during The Lion King performance comes from Elton John, while the lyrics come from Tim Rice. The director of this blockbuster travelling show is Julie Taymor and Garth Fagan is the man in charge of the choreography.

2013 MLB Playoff Outlook

To say the 2013 Major League Baseball season has seen some unexpected results would be an understatement. A division that was supposed to be one of the toughest in baseball was settled months ago, while teams that haven’t been close to playoffs for years are in the hunt for a berth in October. Let’s look at each division and how the playoffs look as of now.

The National League East was the one division clinched months ago. The Atlanta Braves have the best record in the NL and have a magic number of just 4 to officially win the division. With a young team led by Mike Minor and Kris Medlen in the starting rotation and an offense led by MVP candidate Freddie Freeman, the team has impressed many with their play. The Braves will get an added push at the end of September when Jason Heyward returns to the lineup after recovering from a broken jaw.

In the NL Central, the team currently tied in the top spot is a team that hasn’t sniffed postseason play since losing in the NLCS in 1992. Led by two resurgent veterans in the starting rotation, Francisco Liriano and A.J. Burnett, as well as Andrew McCutchen and Pedro Alvarez offensively, the Pittsburgh Pirates are tied with the usual suspect at the top spot, the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals have been led by MVP candidate Yadier Molina and Cy Young candidate, Adam Wainwright.

The NL West has just two teams with a record better than .500 with the Los Angeles Dodgers holding an 11.5 game lead ahead of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Dodgers are being offensively by Hanley Ramirez who returned from the disabled list with a vengeance and Yasiel Puig, the phenom that burst onto the scene in June and has carried the team since. Los Angeles will be a dangerous team in October, as they have one of the best trio’s of starting pitchers with Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke and Hyun-Jin Ryu.

As we look at the American League East, the Boston Red Sox are owners of the best record in the league. They have a magic number of 5 to clinch the division and have been a force offensively and in the pitching game. Their rotation has been led by John Lackey, Clay Buchholz and Jon Lester. Behind the Red Sox in the standings are three teams that have a chance to win a Wild Card berth. The Tampa Bay Rays, New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles are all fighting for their chance to compete in October. The Rays currently hold one of the two spots and the Yankees and Orioles are just 3.5 games back.

The AL Central has also seen a team that hasn’t been in the playoff picture for some time find a spot near the top of the standings. The Kansas City Royals are 7 games back of the first place Detroit Tigers, but are just 3.5 games out of the wild card hunt. The Cleveland Indians are also in the hunt, sitting 5 games back of Detroit and 1.5 games out of the wild card.

The surprising Oakland Athletics are 5.5 games ahead of the Texas Rangers and 16 games ahead of the disappointing Los Angeles Angels. Leading the way for Oakland has been Bartolo Colon, who owns a 16-6 record with a 2.73 ERA, and Jarrod Parker, who is 11-6 with a 3.55 ERA. Offensively, the team may find some struggles in October as they have just one player hitting above .300. They do have a swinger’s chance to win as Brandon Moss, Yoenis Céspedes and Josh Donaldson all have the power to bring the Athletics back with a late inning home run.

2013 Alabama Crimson Tide News

Bama News….

One of the biggest games of the Labor Day weekend featured the defending champions Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the Virginia Tech Hokies. The final score of the game was Alabama 35 – 10 Virginia Hokies.  Alabama will look to repeat as National Champions this season and have all the talent to pull it off.

2012 Recap

Despite actually losing a game in 2012, the Crimson Tide once again showed that success comes from the top. Nick Saban is one of the best coaches in the sport and despite their loss to Texas A&M at home in front of more than 108,000 screaming fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Saban had his kids ready to bounce back. They did just that by completing back-to-back 49-0 shutouts before beating Georgia to win the SEC Championship. They followed that win up with the BCS National Championship by dominating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Key 2013 Games

Playing in the Southeastern Conference, the Crimson Tide will get a schedule filled with tough matchups. On any given week, no matter how much talent is on this Alabama team, a loss could derail their hopes to win the National Championship. Let’s look at some ley matchups on their 2013 calendar.

  • Saturday, September 14 – @ Texas A&M Aggies (Final Score:  Crimson Tide 49 – 42 Aggies)

The one team that was able to put a loss on the Alabama record a season ago will look to do the same again. The biggest difference between the game this season and the game last season is the Aggies will be at home for this nationally televised game as they seek out the upset.

  • Saturday, November 9 – vs. LSU Tigers

The Crimson Tide will welcome the Tigers to Tuscaloosa for this crucial SEC game. It will be one of the hottest tickets in the 2013 NCAA football schedule and one that will pit two of the best teams in the nation against each other.

  • Saturday, November 30 – vs. Auburn Tigers

Another important game for Alabama is the Iron Bowl. This rivalry has been contested 77 times with Alabama earning the most wins with 42. They have won the Iron Bowl two straight years and will look for a three-peat in this regular season finale.

2013 Texas A&M Aggies College Football Preview

The 2012 season was the first for the Texas A&M Aggies in the Southeastern Conference. The team, led by freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel played exceptionally well, going 11-2, including 5-1 against their SEC West opponents. Manziel did his part in cementing his legacy in the sport by winning the Heisman Trophy, but things haven’t been so great since. He has had some issues in the offseason and was suspended for the first half of the 2013 opener against Rice.

Let’s look back on the 2012 season and ahead to what is still to come in 2013.

2012 Recap

The Aggies went 4-2 a year ago in games against teams ranked in the top 25. They lost their season opener to Florida and a game against LSU (lost by eight points total) but played well against other opponents including Mississippi State (38-13), Oklahoma (41-13 in Cotton Bowl Classic) and they were the only team to defeat the BCS National Champion Alabama. It was Manziel who continuously led them back in games and became known as Johnny Football around the country.

Key 2013 Games

The 2013 Aggies have a fun and exciting schedule planned for fans at home in College Station and will also have some tough battles on the road. What are some of the toughest games for them and most exciting for the fans to watch?

  • Saturday, September 14 – vs. Alabama (Final Score:  Alabama 49-42 Texas A&M)

The Aggies will look to get a win on the Crimson Tide in their third game of the season. Whether they will be prepared for a game of that magnitude after playing Rice and Sam Houston State in their first two games remains to be seen, but it should be an exciting game in College Station.

  • Saturday, November 23 – @LSU

The LSU Tigers are always contenders in the college football scene and will this game could have major implications in the hunt for the BCS National Championship. The Aggies would love to get redemption for the loss they suffered a year ago at home against the Tigers.

Other Games of Note:

Saturday, September 28 – @ Arkansas

Saturday, October 12 – @ Ole Mississippi

2013 Louisville Cardinals Season Outlook

Despite a schedule that includes no games against a preseason top 25 team, the Louisville Cardinals are still ranked as the seventh best team in the nation, according to Sports Illustrated. Despite the lackluster schedule of games, the Cardinals have a talented offensive and defensive unit that should run through the new American Athletic Conference. What did the 2012 season look like for the Cardinals and what games will pose the most intrigue in 2013?

2012 Recap

In their final season in the Big East Conference, the Cardinals had an 11-2 record including 5-2 in the Big East to finish in a four-way tie for the conference championship. Since they had the highest seed of the four teams with that record, they earned the Big East’s spot in the Sugar Bowl. Not only did they beat the Florida Gators in that game, they did so with relative ease. It was actually the only win (and only game against) a team ranked in the top 25 in 2012.

Key 2013 Games

This may be one of the toughest teams in college football this season to find the most important games. The AAC Conference is one of the weakest in the sport and the Cardinals don’t have the toughest out of conference schedule, but what games do you need to keep an eye on?

  • Thursday, October 10 – vs. Rutgers

Rutgers was one of the three other teams to tie with Louisville for first place in the Big East a year ago. What made it worse for the Scarlet Knights was that it was a 20-17 loss in the last game of the regular season against the Cardinals that dashed their BCS bowl game hopes.

  • Thursday, December 5 – @ Cincinnati

One of the top rivalries in college football that you don’t know about is held between these two teams. In what is called the Battle for the Keg of Nails, these two teams have played every season since 1966. Overall, they have played each other 52 times with Cincinnati holding the series lead, 30-21-1. Last season, Louisville won 34-31 in overtime to snap the four-year winning streak of the Bearcats.

2013 Ohio State Buckeyes Football Season Highlights

When it comes to the best teams of the 2012 NCAA football scene, one team that is often forgotten are the Buckeyes of Ohio State. The team finished the season as the No. 3 team in the nation, according to the AP. They did this after a 12-0 season under the guidance of first year coach Urban Meyer. The team was ineligible for postseason action a year ago, possibly keeping them out of the BCS National Championship Game. Let’s look back on the 2012 season and ahead to 2013 when they can compete for the national title.

2012 Recap:

As we mentioned, the Buckeyes finished the 2012 season undefeated, winning many games with ease including three against top 25 ranked teams. Among their biggest wins of the season, the Buckeyes defeated Michigan State (17-16), Nebraska (63-38) and Michigan (26-21), prompting many to wonder what could have been if they hadn’t been banned from a bowl game.

Key 2013 Games:

The Buckeye fans are some of the most loyal in the sport and despite their ban a year ago, still saw more than 100,000 fans at each home game. It should be more of the same in 2013 as they welcome some tough opponents to Columbus and will travel for some exciting games as well.

• Saturday, September 28 – vs. Wisconsin

A year ago, Ohio State defeated Wisconsin in Madison, 21-14. It was a tough battle for Ohio State and it should be more of the same when they meet in Columbus. When these two teams meet in their first game of Big Ten action, it will be a game that could set the pace for the rest of the conference.

• Saturday, November 30 – @Michigan

Ohio State finished their 12-0 season a year ago by knocking off Michigan at home in The Game. Michigan holds the lead in this rivalry that dates back to 1897, but the Buckeyes will be hoping to finish this season off the same way it did the year before, with a victory against their greatest rival.

Other Games of Note:

Saturday, October 5 – @ Northwestern
Saturday, October 26 – vs. Penn State

2013 Oregon Ducks Tickets

The team with the best looking jerseys in college football is also one of the best in the nation. Coming into the season, Sports Illustrated has the Oregon Ducks ranked as the fifth best team in the nation and the Ducks would like nothing better than to finish the season as BCS National Champions. They had a stellar 2012 season that saw them reach the top spot in the AP rankings, but a loss to Stanford ended their reign as the best team in the country. The Ducks are hoping to last longer as the No. 1 team in the nation this season and have a tough schedule ahead of them to get there.

The Ducks are hoping to last longer as the No. 1 team in the nation this season and have a tough schedule ahead of them to get there.

Let’s look back on the 2012 Ducks season and what is to come in 2013.

2012 Recap

The 2012 Ducks finished the season with a 12-1 record. The team went 5-1 in games against teams ranked in the top 25 including major victories against Arizona, Washington, USC, Oregon State and Kansas State. In their annual Civil War game against Oregon State, they doubled up the score and advanced to the Fiesta Bowl where they beat Kansas State.

Key 2013 Games

Oregon has a tough schedule in the conference and outside the conference. The team may start with a game against Nicholls State, but that will be their only guaranteed win.

  • Thursday, November 7 – @ Stanford

The Stanford Cardinal are another team that have title hopes this season and this game is being played in a crucial time of the season where injuries may begin to take over the game.  A year ago, Stanford beat Oregon in overtime to knock them out of the No. 1 spot and the Ducks would love nothing better than to return the favor.

  • Friday, November 29 – vs. Oregon State

The final game of the regular season for Oregon will be the Civil War game with their inner state rivals. It will be the 117th time these two teams have squared off and Oregon holds the edge in the record, 60-46-10.

Other Games of Note:

Saturday, September 14 – vs. Tennessee (Won:  Final Score Oregon Ducks 59 – Tennessee Volunteers 14)

2013 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Outlook

The 2012 Notre Dame Fighting Irish college football team did its part to help bring the program back up to relevance on the national scene. For years, the program suffered through abysmal performances under Charlie Weis and Brian Kelly has slowly been gaining steam within the program. The 2013 team is ranked as the eighth best school in the nation by Sports Illustrated. Let’s look back at the 2012 team and look ahead towards several key 2013 matchups.

2012 Recap

The 2012 Fighting Irish finished the season with a 12-1 record, with the lone loss coming in the BCS National Championship game against Alabama. The team never had a chance against the Crimson Tide, but despite the loss, still garnered plenty of respect from football pundits. The team didn’t excel offensively throughout the year, but had the second best defensive unit in the sport led by Manti Te’o, allowing just 12.8 points per game. Notre Dame was badmouthed all season, but still picked up big wins over major programs including Oklahoma, Michigan and Stanford.

Key 2013 Games

In the fourth season of the Kelly regime, the Fighting Irish have an excellent schedule planned with games against several top 25 teams. What are some of their biggest games to look forward to?

  • Saturday, September 7 – @ Michigan (Final Score:  Notre Dame 30 – Michigan Wolverines 41)

Notre Dame and Michigan always seem to have entertaining battles and this game will be the second on the schedule for the Irish this season. Last season, the Irish won 13-6 in South Bend, but will have to travel to Ann Arbor for this key matchup.

  • Saturday, October 19 – vs. USC

Another regular opponent for the Irish are the Trojans of USC. These two teams met in the finale of the 2012 regular season and Irish pulled out another close victory to maintain their perfect regular season mark. When these two teams battle in South Bend, Notre Dame will be hoping to extend their all-time lead in this rivalry.

Other Games of Note:

Saturday, November 9 – @ Pittsburgh

Saturday, November 30 – @ Stanford

The 2013 Fighting Irish have great hopes for the upcoming season and these are just some of the key battles that Tommy Rees, George Atkinson III, Jaylon Smith and the rest of the team will need to work hard at winning.

Kanye West Announces “Yeezus Tour”

Rap star Kanye West has confirmed news about his newly announced solo tour.  The new Dad to baby North will be having his first solo concert tour in five years. The tour has been dubbed as the “Yeezus Tour” and he will be performing in many major cities in North America. The tour will begin in Seattle on October 19th , and will end at the United Center of Chicago on November 7th.

The Yeezus tour will include  Kendrick Lamar as the opener and there will be more special guests, as Kanye promised. His last tour was in 2008 tour and was called “Glow In The Dark.”  He also shared the stage with several other performers such as N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco, Nas and Rihanna. Kanye’s fans have been clamoring for a solo concert, and it seems that Kanye was only too happy to oblige.

Kanye West is not only known as an American hip hop musician, he also engages in songwriting, record producing, film directing and fashion design. His road to success started as a producer for  Roc-A-Fella Records. One of his main achievements and recognition came from his work on “The Blueprint”, Jay-Z’s album in 2001. He also created hit singles for various musicians such as Ludacris, Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys. Kanye is well-known for producing music with high-pitched vocals from mostly soul songs integrated with his own instrumentals. To keep up with changes in the music industry, he expanded his music influence by experimenting with other music genres.

Kanye West hails from Chicago, Illinois and showed signs of potential in rapping as young as 3rd grade. At a young age, he became involved in the hip hop music scene in his home city. Kanye had a rough start in the music industry – he was not taken seriously by record executives until he landed a contract with Roc-A-Fella in 2002. Two years later,  he came out with his first studio album entitled “The College Dropout.”  More studio albums followed in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010. After plenty of collaborative works, Kanye released his sixth studio album called “Yeezus” in 2013.

Kanye is regarded as one of the most popular, successful, and multi-awarded artists in pop music today. Many of his studio albums are regarded as part of greatest records of all time by several music experts and critics. One unique trait of Kanye’s music style is his deviation from the “gangster” style in the hip hop scene. Not only that, Kanye is not afraid to be his own person. He is known as one of the controversial and outspoken celebrities with a loud fashion style and sense. It was even rumored that Kanye wanted Kim Kardashian to go blonde, and apparently she listened since there has been pictures popping up online of her new look.  Currently, Kanye West oversees “GOOD Music”  his own music label and has been directing some short films on the side.

2013 Clemson Tigers News

The Clemson Tigers are coming off one of their best seasons in which they didn’t win a National Championship. They finished the 2012 season with a 11-2 record, including 7-1 in the ACC. They tied the Florida State Seminoles for first place in their division and will look to make it further this season. The team is ranked by Sports Illustrated in tenth place of their preseason poll and would like to use their 2012 performance as a springboard towards greener pastures in 2013.

Clemson Tigers 2013 Home Game Schedule:

Clemson Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs 8/31/13 (Won: Final Score Clemson 38 – Georgia Bulldogs 35)

Clemson Tigers vs. South Carolina State Bulldogs 9/7/13 (Won:  Final Score Clemson 52 – South Carolina 13)

Clemson Tigers vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons 9/28/13

Clemson Tigers vs. Boston College Eagles 10/12/13

Clemson Tigers vs. Florida State Seminoles 10/19/13

Clemson Tigers vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 11/4/13

Clemson Tigers vs. Citadel Bulldogs 11/23/13

How did their 2012 season go and what do fans have to look forward to in 2013?

2012 Recap

After opening the season with a big win against Auburn, Clemson played two teams that had no right being on the field with them. When they stepped onto the field for their fourth game, they were unprepared for a team with an actual offense and Florida State got the big win. Clemson would go on to win seven in a row before a loss to their inner state rival Gamecocks. They did finish the season with a win in the Chick-fil-A-Bowl against LSU, getting their ranking in the AP back to 11th.

Key 2013 Games

The 2013 schedule for Clemson is bookmarked with games that could make or break their season. These two games, contested against Georgia and South Carolina will play a large role in which of these teams, if any, make it to the BCS National Championship.

  • Saturday, August 31 – vs. Georgia

This out of conference game will pit one of the best in the SEC against one of the best in the ACC. For both teams, 2013 is supposed to be the year to win it all, but that will be tough to do heading into the second game of the season with an 0-1 record.

  • Saturday, November 30 – @ South Carolina

The regular season will conclude with the Battle of the Palmetto State. A year ago, South Carolina picked up the win by a score of 27-17. At this stage of the season, this could be the game that propels one of these top teams towards the BCS National Championship, or relegates them down to a bowl that nobody will watch.

Lady Antebellum “Take Me Downtown” Tour Tickets Go Onsale

Lady Antebellum tickets for their upcoming tour go onsale to the public beginning Friday, September 13th for select dates.

Ever since 2009, Lady Antebellum has been selling out arenas around the world. The trio wasted little time in becoming one of the most popular country acts and have not missed a beat since. Even with Hillary Scott pregnant, the band still performed for their fans until Scott was told to stay home. Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood have continued to do their own thing while Scott is away being a mom, but she won’t have much time before hitting the road again. The trio will head out for the “Take Me Downtown Tour” from November through April.

The North American tour will take Lady Antebellum and their opening acts, Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves to more than 60 cities across the United States and Canada. The tour will open up with shows in the Midwest before heading to the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois; Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado; Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut before closing out the tour in April in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Thompson-Boiling Arena.

Despite not being on the road lately, Lady Antebellum has found a way to stay in the news. Earlier this week, as the Country Music Association Award nominees were announced, the trio picked up nominations in the “Vocal Group of the Year” and “Music Video of the Year” for Downtown. The trio would love to add to their collection of awards that already includes seven Grammy Awards and various CMT Music Awards, Academy of Country Awards, American Country Awards, Billboard Music Awards.

Those looking to see Lady Antebellum this winter should be encouraged to attend a show, especially considering the open acts of Moore and Musgraves. Anyone that has seen Moore perform live can attest to the fact that he puts on a great show each night. As for Musgraves, she is one of the brightest stars in country music. She was recently nominated for five CMA awards including “Female Vocalist of the Year,” “New Artist of the Year,” “Album of the Year” for Same Trailer Different Park, “Single of the Year” for Merry Go Round, and “Song of the Year” for Merry Go Round.

2013 Trans-Siberian Orchestra Tour: The Last Christmas Eve Begins in November

2013 Trans-Siberian Orchestra Tickets

Founded in 1993 by Paul O’Neill, a composer, producer and lyricist, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has turned into a worldwide phenomenon. The group had a small following at first, but saw their popularity grow rapidly in the late 1990s and early 2000s because of their performance of “Beethoven’s Last Night.” By the late 2000s, their presence on the touring scene was well-known to the point where the Washington Post called the show a “touring juggernaut.”

Each year, the band plays their rock opera for thousands of fans each night and on some days, twice in the same city. Their current rock opera, The Lost Christmas Eve combines great music, light shows, rising stages and an incredible storyline. Their 2013 tour will be the final time fans have a chance to see The Lost Christmas Eve show, but each year, the show changes enough to make it must-attend concert. With new stages, new “surprises” and an amazing pyrotechnics show, fans will be in awe of the show.

Those who are unfamiliar with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra can best understand what kind of show you’d be seeing with this explanation. A typical show will give you a mixture of classical, symphonic and orchestral music to the beat of rock and roll and heavy metal music. It is the combination of all these styles that have made the Trans-Siberian Orchestra one of the top ticket selling bands in the world through the first part of the 2000s.

Some may question how a show featuring a live orchestra can sound so well night after night, but the band, led by O’Neill continually work on their craft to ensure they give each fan in attendance a show they will tell all their friends about. The 2013 Trans-Siberian Orchestra will head to cities across the United States including Hartford, Connecticut; Denver, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada and more.

Florida Gators 2013 News

2013 Florida Gators Tickets

Two thousand thirteen will be the fourth season for the Florida Gators under the reign of Will Muschamp. The team has gone just 18-8 in his first three seasons, but is coming off their best season under their coach, going 11-2, including 7-1 against the SEC East. The team is ranked ninth in the Sports Illustrated preseason poll and is out to prove that they are not to be overlooked in the BCS Championship discussion.

Let’s look back on their 2012 season and look ahead to 2013.

2012 Recap

The Gators went 4-2 against top 25 teams a year ago, dropping to Georgia in a conference game and to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl. Despite those losses, their talent was evident in their victories against teams from Florida State (37-26), South Carolina (44-11) and LSU (14-6). It wasn’t smooth sailing for the Gators though, as they didn’t play like they should have against Bowling Green, Louisiana-Lafayette or Jacksonville State.

Key 2013 Games

The Gators have one of the toughest schedules in all of college football. When it comes to their late season success, the tough schedule could be a major help, or it could also derail their chances of playing for the national title. What are some of the biggest games to watch the Gators take part in?

  • Saturday, November 2 – vs. Georgia

The highest seed the Gators got a year ago was No. 3 and the Bulldogs stopped that quickly with a 17-9 victory in Florida. These two teams will once again compete against each other in Jacksonville in a rivalry that has spanned 90 meetings. Georgia has the eight game edge and will look to extend that when they travel to Gainesville.

  • Saturday, November 30 – vs. Florida State

The Florida vs. Florida State rivalry is one of the most watched around the nation. They have met 57 times and Florida has the 34-21-2 edge.  As of late, the games never seem to be close. The last time the winning team had a margin of less than 10 points was 2006, something both teams will look to continue in the regular season finale.

Other Games of Note:

Saturday, October 12 – @ LSU

Saturday, November 16 – @ South Carolina

2013 South Carolina Gamecocks College Football Preview

South Carolina Gamecocks Tickets

In the world of NCAA football, there are few coaches that can turn a program from nothing into something by simply signing with the team. One of those coaches is Steve Spurrier. While things haven’t gone as well for Spurrier in South Carolina as they did in Florida, he has still led them to seven bowl games since being hired in 2005. In the past two seasons, Spurrier has coached the team to consecutive 11-2 seasons and will look to improve on that record in 2013. How did 2012 turn out for the Gamecocks and what are the key games on their 2013 schedule?

2012 Recap

The 2012 Gamecocks had a chance to make it into the BCS National Championship game. They had a talented roster, but back-to-back losses to LSU and Florida derailed hopes of playing for the national title. The team still had their share of monumental victories as they knocked off Georgia, Clemson and Michigan. Despite their win in the Outback Bowl, the Gamecocks know that their 2012 season wasn’t what it could or should have been.

Key 2013 Games

On paper, the Gamecocks don’t have the toughest schedule this season, but in the tough Southeastern Conference, one never knows what the kind of fight they will see. What are some of the most important games on their schedule?

  • Saturday, September 7 – @ Georgia (Lost:  Final Score Georgia Bulldogs 41 – 30 South Carolina Gamecocks)

A year ago, South Carolina embarrassed the Bulldogs in Columbia, but will have to travel to Athens for their second game of the season. Georgia is another team that could wonder what could have been in 2012 were it not for the loss. Both teams will come into this game amped up, which should lead to fun action for fans.

  • Saturday, November 30 – vs. Clemson

The season will conclude for the Gamecocks with a game against Clemson in the Battle of the Palmetto State. The two teams have met 110 times since their first meeting in 1896 with Clemson holding the considerable lead in victories with 65. A year ago, South Carolina picked up the win in Clemson and will look to get the win at home this season.

Other Games of Note:

Saturday, October 19 – @ Tennessee

Saturday, November 16 – vs. Florida

The team is coming off a 2012 campaign that saw them going 12-2 in the Pac-12 Conference, winning the conference championship and Rose Bowl. The team will have high hopes for not only a repeat of last season, but to make it a little further. Let’s look back on the 2012 team and what they have to look forward to in 2013.

2013 Home Games:

Stanford Cardinal vs. Arizona Sun Devils - 9/21/13

Stanford Cardinal vs. San Jose State Spartans - 9/7/13

Stanford Cardinal vs. Washington Huskies - 10/5/13

Stanford Cardinal vs. UCLA Bruins - 10/19/13

Stanford Cardinal vs. Oregon Ducks - 11/7/13

Stanford Cardinal vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish - 11/30/13

2012 Recap:

David Shaw entered the 2012 season as a second year coach looking to rebound following a Fiesta Bowl loss to Oklahoma State in overtime to finish his rookie season. He was able to follow up an 11-2 mark with a 12-2 campaign. The two games the Cardinal team lost were both games they could have won, first 17-13 to Washington and then to Notre Dame 20-13 in overtime. Despite those losses, they won the final eight games of their season including the 20-14 win against Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.

Key 2013 Games:

The Cardinal will have a difficult road to repeating as Pac-12 champions this season as their schedule is filled with big games on the road and at home. What are some of the biggest games on their schedule?

• Saturday, October 19 – vs. UCLA

Last season, in front of nearly 70,000 fans, Stanford ran straight through UCLA on their way to a 35-17 win in their first meeting. In the second meeting, contested for the Pac-12 Championship, UCLA made it closer, losing by just three points and will hope to twist the score around when these two conference rivals meet.

• Thursday, November 7 – vs. Oregon

This nationally televised game will feature two teams that very well could be ranked in the top five before the opening kickoff. Last season, Oregon was the top ranked team in the nation when they met and Stanford pulled out the three point win in overtime.
Other Games of Note:

Saturday, November 16 – @USC
Saturday, November 30 – vs. Notre Dame
Stanford will look to redeem themselves this season when they battle Notre Dame in the regular season finale. The winner of this game could be on their way to the BCS National Championship.
